Looking to join a remote bookkeeping team?

The Cbk team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. For the right candidate, this role will be 38 hours per week. Days are Monday to Friday with a flexible start time between 9 am and 11 am Melbourne time.

Cbk Bookkeeping was launched in 2018 by our Founder Catherine Nugent. Small business has always been a part of Catherine’s life, with her family taking over management of their first business when she was just 3 years old.

Over the last four years, through referrals and recommendations, Cbk has steadily grown to a passionate team of four staff. The Cbk team truly want to see their clients succeed and to ensure they enjoy the rewards and lifestyle that can come with being a small business owner.

The Cbk team strive to support each other and their clients in building a lifestyle of their design. We look to create collaborative relationships, built on trust and believe that true empowerment comes from shared knowledge. In line with these values, we also support the Kiva initiative, loaning money regularly via Kiva to help fund small business ventures in developing countries.

The Position:

​

This role will see you jumping between Dext, Xero and QBO across the day. You’ll be reconciling bank feeds, running reports, and chatting with your team via Slack. The position will see you working closely with Catherine, Cbk’s founder and her senior bookkeeper whilst you get to know your client base. We work on our clients’ files weekly, so that they have the most up to date records possible. Initially, this will see you doing around 3 to 8 hours of work per week, however as you get more comfortable within the business, we’ll build up your client portfolio.

Position Requirements:

​

We’d love to hear from bookkeepers that are confident in both Xero and QBO and have experience managing multiple clients’ files. Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience and a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping. However, if you have a small business background, a Certificate IV Accounting & Bookkeeping and you’re confident in your bookkeeping skills, please send us your application for consideration.
